This house was built by William O’Donnell c1888 and was the last of seven houses built by him in the Foss Street-Alexandra Street area. It is said that handmade bricks from the area known as Cuneo Bay were used; they were brought to Lagleyze Bakery (The Old Bakery) and cooked in the baker’s oven. This house was Mrs Lawrence Stephenson’s School from 1897 and the first location of Mr F. Frith’s Malvern Preparatory School in 1911.
