This house was built in 1889 by Charles Edward Jeanneret. It was called Lugano in 1899 when G.C.K. Waldron, city solicitor, lived here but named Strathspey in 1924. A fine detail of this house is a stained glass window depicting a pair of kingfishers in flight.
