This cottage, on Lot 11 Section 2 of the cricket ground subdivision, belonged to Charles Hawkless in 1884 (see also 51 Ryde Road). It then changed hands yearly, to Ellen Parker in 1885, Langden in 1886 and Kensett in 1887.
